Test Data Co-Ordinator

POSITION PURPOSE:

We are seeking experienced SAP test data coordinator to support test data activities for CORE Transformation project. This role will focus on ensuring accurate, efficient, and seamless data creation and coordinating with value stream leads / teams - while aligning with organizational and CORE program goals. The ideal candidate will have good experience with SAP Processes, SAP ECC and S4HANA data and cross-functional team collaboration across different cultures

(Domains - Supply Chain / Manufacturing / Quality)

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate & gather data with alignment across Value Streams (VS).
• Use one-pager to translate test requirements into data needed for testing and case scenarios.
• Responsible to establish a clear intake process for capturing requirements, leveraging ADO (Azure DevOps) as the central repository.
• Drive creation and expansion of test data within the relevant Q system for end-to-end test scenarios spanning multiple VS.
• Review and navigate challenges & dependencies between data sets across different VS.
• Prepare load templates and loading the same in S4
• Address any missing configurations during data preparation by coordinating with the appropriate VS contacts.
• Validate data load results and ensure transformation rules are properly implemented.
• Confirm the test data is complete and accurate prior to creation.
• Ensure test data is successfully replicated to the S4 system and other relevant environments when applicable.
• Conduct retrospectives with VS teams to identify and apply improvements.
• Work closely with VS teams to resolve major defects related to test data.
• Lead stand-up meetings to discuss blockers and dependencies.
• Identify key risks and blockers and develop mitigation plans.
• Align with the request for creation across VS for test data collection
• Freeze the data requirement and document for all VS/tester consumptions

WHO YOU ARE:

Experience: 

• Overall, 5-7 years of experience & preferably 2  years of experience in SAP test data management with focus on S/4HANA.
• Familiarity with test data tools, methodologies, and best practices.

Domain Expertise:

• Comprehensive understanding of business processes across SAP value streams (Supply Chain / Manufacturing / Quality)

Technical Expertise:

• Proficiency in SAP ECC and S4HANA
• Strong expertise in data mapping, validation, and transformation processes for Master and transaction data  as part of S4HANA transformations
• In-depth knowledge of SAP data structures
• Experienced in any test data management tools/ Automation would be an advantage
• Proven experience in managing or coordinating SAP test data projects, preferably with SAP S/4 HANA.
• Proven experience in test data management from SAP ECC or S/4 HANA
• Excellent knowledge of relevant best practices and standards related to test data management
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across teams , levels and cultures.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools
