We are looking for someone who would be part of the Settlement Operations Team as an Associate, Settlement Operations responsible for assures accurate, valid, and timely agent's settlement, reconciliations, investigations, and escalations in for Western Union, Vigo, and OV brands.

Role Responsibilities

• As an Associate, you will be responsible to a variety of functions in Settlement accounting operations to performs complex settlement accounting operations tasks, ensuring the daily / monthly operational KPIs are met, provides high quality and timely support to complex requests of the agents in US, LACA and APAC region as business partners and stakeholders.
• Participates in the projects related to settlement operations, identifies, and initiates constant improvements of the settlement operation processes, ensures the controls of the processes comply with the rules and regulations of the company.
• You need to ensure accurate and complete processing within Service Level Agreements.
• You will communicate with Stakeholders to fix and solve queries as well as responsible for escalating issues and follow-up with management as necessary.
• You need to comply with Western Union Internal policies and applicable regulatory and financial reporting requirements.

Role Requirements

• 0-2 years of relevant working experience, preferably from Accounting and Finance background. Knowledgeable in accounting activities like account reconciliations, journal entries, cash application and financial reporting.
• High School degree, Pursuing a career, bachelor's degree, or a technical background in accounting, finance, or business.
• B1+ English level.
• Customer Service experience with internal and external customers.
• Intermediate Excel skills.
• Knowledgeable in Power Query and Power Bi.
• High- sense of urgency, proactivity, teamwork, and communication skills
• Excellent analytical skills and attentive to details.
• Ability to identify and resolve problems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
