**BAT Costa Rica is looking for a BILINGUAL- LEAD FINANCE MANAGER (PENSION AND BENEFITS ACCOUNTING)**

**SENIORITY LEVEL**:Management

**FUNCTION**: Finance

**ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES**

**Reports to**:Senior Finance Manager

**Geographic Scope**:United States

**WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR**
- Tasks processed within SLA agreed with end market, KPIs are met and differences are managed optimally and Achieve a high degree customer happiness.
- Responsible for preparing pension and postretirement accounting journal entries and analyses and consolidated pension and postretirement reporting.
- Responsible for performance and documentation of various internal controls. Assist in controls testing to align with Sarbanes Oxley requirements.
- Partner with other corporate functions, such as Tax, Treasury, HR and LEX. Assist with special projects as needed.
- Prepare documentation and financial documents for employee benefit plan audits and Build Process Documentation and review and keep updated existing documentation.
- Develop, suggest, and implement new procedures to ensure efficiency and effective operation of processes.
- Connect with stakeholders by solving issues, providing mentorship, and promoting a customer focused culture and assist other team members as needed.

**ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE**
- 5+ years’ experience in a multinational company.
- University degree (Accounting, Economic of Finance). / CPA designation preferred.
- Knowledge of statutory and management accounting principles for the countries within AMER is an advantage.
- Strong accounting knowledge, ability to prepare Statutory, Management and other relevant reporting.
- Must be flexible and adaptable to work with various levels of employees and leaders (up to and including executives).
- Must have proven ability to work in high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- US Payroll and/or Benefits/Pension Accounting experience preferred.
- BPC and SAP acknowledge is very desirable
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, Strong customer focus

**BENEFICIAL**
- Work proficient in English - Bilingual (Spanish and English )
- Experience in the Shared Services environment and Business Partnering.
- US Payroll and/or Benefits/Pension Accounting experience preferred.
- US GAAP/US Corporate/Commercial Finance & Accounting experience.
