About the Role

Workday is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to join the Products & Technology Finance team in a role passionate about financial performance analysis and reporting. We’re looking for a finance leader that is organized, leverages data to influence, and collaborates to drive optimal outcomes.

**Responsibilities**:
- Lead Products & Technology (P&T) Finance team (HQ) Function which includes designing and leading key financial processes related to close, forecast and annual planning for the Products & Technology organization.- Set timeline for all monthly, quarterly and annual financial processes for P&T Finance team, to ensure standardization as well as simplification across the team.- Lead forecast and close cycles with Corporate Finance, representing P&T Finance team.- Develop reporting used to lead and support the Products & Technology team.- Lead holistic P&T level analysis to support VP, Finance P&T.- Lead, develop, and train individual contributors in financial processes and reporting in the Costa Rica office.- Build effective partnerships with P&T Finance team members, P&T Chief of Staff, P&T Talent Acquisition and People & Purpose partners.- Provide qualitative financial analysis around key performance indicators and develop insights on business performance based on the interpretation of financial results.- Prepare monthly and quarterly P&L and high-level financial packages. Communicate variances to plan/budget to business partners and other key stakeholders. Analyze business results providing advice on the financial impact of operating decisions.- Support annual strategic planning process, including the evaluation of key metrics and models.- Develop strong industry knowledge through collaboration with the business to proactively handle and evaluate future challenges.- Responsible for standard and ad-hoc reporting and analysis to provide significant metrics and insights.- Participate in cross-functional efforts to continuously improve data quality and establish rigor in measuring and monitoring the business.- Represent P&T Finance in any Business Finance wide projects and initiatives and position P&T Finance requirements effectively.- Be the primary point of contact of P&T Finance to handle any P&T specific request that come from the CFO organization.
