Role/Responsibilities
- Work to stand up Moody’s non-compensation Center of Excellence (COE) team, running multiple workstreams to ensure business partners are provided the transparency and accuracy in results needed to support their partners
- Ensure each COE workstream has accurate documentation and controls around all processes
- Liaise with Middle Office and Billing teams to manage SF inquiries between the two supporting departments. Coordinate invoices and facilitate customer response in a timely manner. Partner effectively with Collections team to research and resolve any issues to professionally expedite payment of outstanding invoices
- Help handle select business partner results analysis, key performance indicators, forecasting, annual budgeting and planning
- Work closely with the senior management team on strategic operating objectives and long-term strategies through the development and implementation of financial and strategic planning
- Develop analysis to support senior management decision making processes
- Partner with Moody’s Consolidated Planning to ensure results are accurately and correctly represented
- Find opportunities to automate and/or improve processes - including through improvements to existing or new technology or streamlined data management
- Participate in special projects as assigned by Finance management
- Ensure close coordination across segments and support functions that are geographically dispersed
- Scope/Supervision and Interaction
- Interaction with Business and Corporate Planning colleagues, Accounting, Investor Relations, Treasury, HR, Tax and business line representatives
- Manage a team of 3 managers (and their teams) as well as an analyst
- Lead staff with operating tasks, project, and problem analysis, effectively connect with management and adhere to company’s policies and guidelines.
- Draft sales contracts in accordance with internal policies and standard methodologies while evaluating both business and client needs and making recommendations to sales representatives. Exercise judgment throughout the contract drafting & negotiation process to resolve issues and ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley controls.

**Qualifications**:

- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other business field
- CPA, MBA and/or other relevant professional qualification a plus
- 10+ years of business experience in financial planning and analysis role
