Employee Relations Senior Manager

Work with the Regional ER Lead to provide high level advisory and complex case management support to People Business Partners, and People functions (Talent, Reward etc) and business.
Participate in the delivery of global ER projects as identified in the region. Ensure ER policies and procedures are up to date and in line with global commitments and engage relevant stakeholders, including employment counsel.
Accountabilities:
- To act as a senior point of contact for highly complex ER queries.
- Advises HRMs on the end to end process for non-complex ER cases, including grievances, disciplinaries, performance, etc.
- Input and maintain record of cases managed within ER case management system.
- Identify trends arising from case data, interacting with Risk and Legal colleagues, where relevant
- Provide specialised ER expertise in interpreting and solving people issues and recommend solutions/best practices and mitigating any legal financial and reputational risk.
- Support and advise on ad-hoc HR function programmes (Reward, Talent Diversity etc), seeking employment legal advice as appropriate.
- Lead on local consultation requirements with trade unions and other representative bodies as required
- Manage own complex and sensitive cases and advise HR community and the business on BAU cases.
- Collaborate/share knowledge/legal updates with wider Employee Relations team.
- Participate or lead ER projects e.g. global policy review; contracts of employment; benefits harmonisation of policy, where applicable.
- Develop and deliver training and development to upskill People Leaders and HRMs
- Liaise with Employment Legal to ensure legal risks are fully considered and consistency of advice and guidance to divisional People teams.
- Ensure LSEG operates in accordance with local employment law, policies and procedures, and applies good practice
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree or equivalent and / or relevant qualification including previous HR Experience
- Employee Relations experience 5 years +
- Stakeholder management experience
- Experience of working in fast paced, global and matrixed organisation during time of significant change

- Understands ER policies and processes. Serves as a resource to employees to ensure individual employee problems are heard, issues are addressed, and employees are treated fairly.
