**Responsibilities**:
- Supervise audit staff and ensure the effective completion of audit engagements.
- Develop audit plans and schedules.
- Review audit work performed by auditors.
- Identify and assess risks and control deficiencies.
- Ensure audit work is performed in accordance with auditing standards.
- Review audit reports and communicate findings to management.
- Provide training and guidance to audit staff.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Ensure audits are completed within budget and on time.
- Respond to inquiries from management and provide constructive recommendations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of auditing standards, regulations and best practices.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the audit process.
- Report on the status of audit projects and escalate any issues to management as necessary.
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional certification, such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) (plus)
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in auditing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Fluency in English is required (English Level B2+)
- Understanding of financial statements, internal controls, and risk management.
- Strong leadership and management abilities.
- Knowledge of: US GAAP, SOX (nice to have)
