**SENIORITY LEVEL**:Non-management

**FUNCTION**:Finance

**LOCATION**:Heredia, CR

**ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES**

**Reports to**: Team leader.

**Geographic Scope**: USA

**WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR**
- Balancing BAT payables to Global Strategic Suppliers receivables
- Engaging with suppliers to negotiate deduction and cash collection on behalf of the Group.
- Exploring new data analytics and process mining technologies to establish and gain recognition for the Global AP Analytics function within DBS.
- Seeking a dynamic footprint on the end-to-end Receipt to Pay process.
- Acting as a communication role model in pushing the standardization, automation and simplification agenda.
- Performing monthly reports.
- Solving the issues addressed by suppliers via E-mail.
- Performing some analysis of the supplier’s accounting data and critical issue of problems when they arise.

**CAN THIS BE YOUR FUTURE ROLE?**
- Are you proficient in English?
- Are you skilled with MS Excel?

**ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE**
- Experience Required 2-3 years in a similar position could be an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related fields.
- Knowledge of SAP and MS Excel and Accounts Payable
- PowerPoint presentation, Power BI
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written in English.
- Problem solving and operational improvement skills and good command of English spoken and written
- Empathy towards both internal and external team members and curiosity to understand BAT’s business and end market diversity
- Ability to prioritize and manage time to perform the tasks and quickly assimilate new information.

**BENEFICIAL**
- Microsoft Excel knowledge desirable.
- SAP system knowledge desirable.
- Power BI knowledge is a plus
