Global Sourcing Manager

This role will be responsible for the development and execution of Sourcing strategies and initiatives within the Consulting Services sub-category to achieve efficiencies and cost reduction. This role has a significant strategic element. The ability to carry out market research and contract reviews to generate ideas for savings and efficiencies while working in partnership with stakeholders to develop and execute those initiatives will be key. This role will have an overall Sourcing focus and Consulting Services will be a key element of that. - Manage requests for proposal, eAuction, supplier negotiations, financial analysis, and contract administration - Identify opportunities to leverage sourcing of procurement and utilize procurement tools and processes to research supplier and commodity information as well as report and record procurement transactions - Manage the analysis, negotiation, drafting, and implementation of contracts, as well as oversee contracts/suppliers for compliance, deliverables, and opportunities - Analyze supplier proposals to identify savings, commitments, and opportunities as well as work with suppliers to measure/track performance and reporting requirements - Communicate with stakeholders to reduce the total cost of ownership as well as plan and negotiate agreements to minimize risk and exposure, and provide optimal terms and conditions - Monitor the supplier market and identify opportunities resulting from market shifts and trends - Contribute to corporate initiatives including approved supplier program, diversity spend program, service excellence, procure-to-pay program and achieving annual measurement goals - Liaise with sourcing team, legal, internal customers, and suppliers to ensure all audit guidelines are met and adherence to Citi processes and procedures is achieved - Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision. - Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy. - Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members. - Drive Citi’s diverse supplier strategy and targets **Requirements**: - English level: ability to communicate fluently - Bachelor degree completed as a plus - MS Office (High) - 8 years of relevant experience working in Sourcing, negotiating commodities - Sourcing experience in procuring Consulting Services is a plus - Experience working within the parameters of set policies and procedures in a large multinational firm - The ability to work with country/regional stakeholders - Expert negotiation skills - both commercial and contractual - based on research and category knowledge - Project management skills - Flexible, cross-cultural and cross-functional, team player - Reporting on category trends and best practices driving best-in-class sourcing practices - A sense of ownership and responsibility to ensure end to end problem resolution for the overall success of the CGS function - **Job Family Group**: Corporate Services - **Job Family**: Supply Chain - **Time Type**: Full time - Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
