**SENIORITY LEVEL**:Junior Level

**FUNCTION**: DBS

**LOCATION**:Heredia, Costa Rica

**ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES**

This role is part of DBS - GBS Finance.

**Reports to**:Indirect Tax Manager

**Reporting Level**:Mid - Senior Level

**Geographic Scope**:US & Canada

**WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR**
- Ensure and monitor that all tasks are completed accurately and on a timely basis consistent with regulatory requirements and related Service Level Agreement (SLA).
- Actively develop and maintain good working relationships with key commercial stakeholders and team members.
- Actively search out areas for process improvement, identify any gaps in efficiency and effectiveness, and recommend improvements.
- Support any specific process improvement projects as requested and or assigned.
- Coordinate and plan daily activities using effective time management principles.
- Perform, coordinate, and monitor the preparation of semi-monthly tax returns and payments and monthly reporting for all required submissions to the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) for multiple legal entities.
- Provide data and support as needed to assist with the Federal and state audits.
- Assist with the recruiting, development, and leadership of support from the Costa Rican Global Shared Service Center.

**ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE**
- University degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience in multinational organizations with not less than five years’ experience in the Shared Services industry.
- Proficient English level, verbal, and writing (C1).
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (MS Word, Power Point, Excel & Outlook).
- Knowledge of accounting for indirect taxes.
- Knowledge in transactional platforms (ERP, SAP).
- Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with partners and team members.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Self-motivated individual, working at high professional standards, with a strong focus on results.

**BENEFICIAL**
- Desirable knowledge of BPC.
- Desirable knowledge of Power BI, Power Apps, or automation tools.
