**ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES**

**Reports to**: P&R Manager

**Geographic Scope**: USA Region

**WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR**
- Develop and sustain strong business partnering relationships across functional areas such as Information Data & Technology, Human Resources, Scientific Research & Development or Legal & External Affairs
- Prepare monthly forecasting and be responsible for the closing processes for the USA’s functional budgets
- Support cross functional teams in setting strategy & providing scenario analyses, budgets, cash flow impacts and CAPEX
- Develop robust financial analytics and reporting for the organization
- Support business case preparation
- Track actuals, coordinate with other BAT entities and the Tax department, process recharges and prepare vouchers
- Responsible for various monthly reconciliations and trend analyses
- Responsible for performance and documentation of various internal controls
- Provide leadership and coordination to drive continuous department improvement
- Assist with special projects as needed

We are looking for a P&R Assistant Manager who will bring innovation, creativity, and a good attitude to our team. This position is a highly visible and an integral part of the USA Finance team that offers tremendous growth opportunity. In this role, you will support functional area budget teams in the USA Financial Planning department.

**ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related area
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Accounting, Financial Analysis, or related area
- Strong knowledge of finance / analytics and Commercial acumen and Capacity for innovation
- High proficiency in PC skills and detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel
- Ability to think strategically, with strong influencing and leadership skills
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills and Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to make quick decisions, use good judgment, ask relevant questions
- High sense of urgency, work ethic, and must be flexible and Ability to work under mínimal supervision; must be a self-starter
- Must demonstrate financial responsibility and reliability and must be detail oriented and ability to challenge the status quo as necessary
- Proficient in written and verbal English

**BENEFICIAL**
- CPA, MBA
- BPC system knowledge desirable
- SAP knowledge is a plus
