The Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) Operations Team supports the key business processes of our various business teams working to serve Amazon teams working in our corporate office buildings worldwide.
This role drives continuous improvement focused on improving performance at GREF sites by identifying and correcting root issues. The role promotes consistency and elevation of Correction of Errors (COEs) to reduce risk and avoid future mistakes. The Program Manager provies support to stakeholders throughout COE process by developing and utilizing best practice materials (COE Toolkit). The role partners with Vendor Managers to identify and address the root cause of substantial vendor performance issues and develop plans to mitigate future re-occurrence. The Corrective Action Plans (CAP) process is used to assist the vendor in meeting Amazon expectations.
**Key responsibilities of the role include (not limited to)**:
Responsible for development and execution of COE and CAP processes.
Partners with Vendor Managers to identify and address the root cause of substantial vendor performance issues.
Reviews and follows completion of associated action plan.
Supports stakeholders through the COE and CAP processes.
Promote consistency and elevation of COEs to reduce risk and avoid future mistakes.
Maintain, update and improve related tools and resources to support stakeholders throughout COE process.
Provide visibility and reporting updates to leadership.
Provide continuous improvement to all COE and CAP tools as part of the ongoing development of the program.
Influence stakeholders (including Global Program Owners and Regional Managers) outside your direct area of responsibility to ensure progress on key actions.
Ability to dive deeply into details as easily as convey high-level plans with clear and concise verbal and written communication.
Successful at transforming raw thoughts into clear documentation and requirements.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Six Sigma certification or experience facilitating root cause analysis exercises.
Experience owning program strategy and end to end delivery.
Experience defining and executing against program requirements.
Professional discretion, tact, and diplomacy.
Strong verbal and written communication.
Detail-oriented with ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple initiatives.
Initiate and promote positive change.
Able to develop strong rapport with stakeholders.
Keep groups on track and moving.
Consistent tracking of due dates and deadlines.
Ability to lead and influence others.
Develop, promote, and socialize ideas for continuous improvement.
5+ years of experience in program management.
Bachelor’s degree or higher.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience elevating and evolving organizational programs.
Experience in change management and driving adoption of new tools, processes, and decision support.
Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Strong service mindset and ability to use metrics to measure service levels.
Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
Six Sigma certification is a plus.
