**SENIORITY LEVEL**:Non-management

**FUNCTION**: Finance

**LOCATION**:Heredia, CR

**ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES**

This role is part of Procure to Pay in the Finance department. The role is responsible for processing invoices into SAP, providing best in class customer service to internal and external customers, and collaborate actively in process improvements.

**Reports to**:Procure to Pay Team Lead

**Geographic Scope**:USA

**WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR**
- Processing invoices, credit notes into the appropriate systems and within the agreed time.
- Liaise with relevant parties (buyers, requestors, and suppliers, etc.) to resolve critical issues preventing invoices to be processed.
- Maintains documentation to support AP transactions that facilitates the efficient review and audit of books and records.
- Comply with all internal control procedures.
- Recommend operational improvements to create greater efficiency and productivity.

**ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE**
- Experience required 1-2 years in a finance function in matrixed international company (preferably American or Multinational company) with complex reporting practices and with exposure to various reporting systems
- Hands on, organized and detail oriented
- Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
- Address ad-hoc requests in a timely, accurate and professional manner.
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Office packages knowledge (specially MS Excel)
- Student or graduated of Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related fields
- Intermediate to advanced English level (required)

**BENEFICIAL**
- Excel and SAP knowledge is a plus
- Coupa knowledge is a plus
