**BAT COSTA RICA LOOKING FOR A COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST**

**ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES**

**Reports to**:DBS Costa Rica Communications Manager

**Reporting Level**:Non-Managerial

**WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR**

Create, design, edit, adapt and produce digital content in multiple formats (HTML, video, animations, executive presentations, blogs, newsletter and other), to be shared through all available internal and communications channels.
- Support with coordination of corporate events, including town halls, stakeholders visits, local celebrations, focusing on logistics to guarantee the event runs as planed and without disruptions, including vendors management, content gathering, visual identity, feedback gathering and report of success for Leadership Team, and other requirements related, with the support and partnership with local Facilities, Procurement, Technology and the guidance of Communications Manager.
- Support the Communion Manager, delivering the GBS communication strategy, ensuring effective communications of various projects and initiatives developed under the Your Voice umbrella, including celebrations and recognition.
- Provide counsel on new communications platform, trends, formats to explore that improves the effectiveness of the delivery of the GBS communication strategy.
- Actively searches for ways to optimize the impact of his/her internal campaigns; adopts and implements best practices inspired from industry trends, competitor data and other sources.
- Drives effective and transparent communications and stakeholder engagement.
- Development of creative campaigns to enhance employee engagement on BAT Ethos, together with the Leadership team.
- Continuously elevates internal communication activities to the highest organizational level to optimize consistency and efficiency.

**ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE**

**Experience Required**
- 3 years of experience in multinational corporations, exposure to multi-cultural teams and matrix structure, creating different versions of content for a range of social/digital channels, for example infographics, data visualization, animation and video.
- Proven experience coordinating corporate events (face-to-face, online and hybrid), event design, negotiating best offers with external vendors, and their supervision guaranteeing the proper delivery and execution of the event.

**Skills Required**:

- Adobe Creative Cloud Suite Proficient Level (special focused and experience producing content using Adobe Premiere and After Effects).
- Project Management mindset: able to own and be accountable for the accomplishment of projects on time, without disruptions and as planned.
- Excellent communication skills and motivation to share information in a way that engages employees.
- Analytical and quantitative analysis skills: capacity to transform complex information into clear messages; ability to explain technical matters in a clear and brief manner

**Education / Qualifications / Certifications**
- Graduated of Advertisement, Design, Multimedia Communication degree.
- English Proficiency [C1]
