**Job Description**:
As our Internal Communications Specialist, you will be a member of the People & Culture Team and report to our Internal Communications & Engagement Manager. You will contribute to the Experian Decision Analytics business unit’s success by partnering across the organization and the Experian ecosystem by executing internal communication campaigns and programs that shape the employee experience. To thrive in this role,
you must be detail-oriented, creative, and collaborate well in a fast-paced environment. This includes building relationships and having an agile mindset. This is a remote or hybrid position. Travel is not required at this time.
What you’ll do every day
**Internal Communications Planning and Execution**
- Assist with engaging, informing, and directing employees about the business strategy and
- priorities
- Draft copy for executive and employee messaging
- Direction will be set along the way, but this individual should be able to come up with creative ideas, suggestions, and recommendations on how to have the biggest impact
- Serve as the internal communications expert/hub - prioritizing comms by vehicle, content,
- timing, and business impact with guidance
- Manage distribution lists and channel membership
- Provide regular reports on our internal audience and adjust approach in order to be most
- effective
- Partner with various teams to provide timely updates on milestones
**“Comms Stack” Technology**
- Maintain the intranet site on SharePoint
- Formatting newsletters in Outlook and Dynamic Signal/FirstUp
- Build and update the internal communications content calendar on Microsoft Planner
- Measure employee engagement on technological tools, such as Slack, Microsoft Teams, and Dynamic Signal/FirstUp
**Virtual All Hands Meetings**
- Assist with project managing regular all hands meetings, including designing and preparing the presentation deck and coordinating the presenters
**Culture**
- Coordinate the new joiner experience for the business unit
- Manage and assist with rolling out culture events/campaigns
- Be an engaged member in various Experian communities of practice - Agile, Internal
- Communications, Creative Collective, Writers/Editors
- Participate and support corporate social responsibility programs and employee resource groups
**Qualifications**:
What your background looks like
- Strong written, visual arts, and design background with portfolio
- Proficiency in Slack and Microsoft 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Teams) Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects is a plus)
- Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and layout skills
- Self-motivated, flexible, and open to work on a variety of assignments in a dynamic environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Organizational, project management, and time management skills
- Confident communicator who can work with all levels of management
- Understanding of working in a global business environment
