**SUMMARY**:
Your role will be to function as a Principal Network Security Engineer within the Secure Access Engineering team responsible for the design and implementation of Network security technologies and services within existing Data Centers, Public Cloud and branch office infrastructure.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Support the global Secure Access Engineering department in the delivery of properly engineered Network Security (Secure Access) services, including the management of change and the maintenance of professional standards in the area of Security and related services.
- Providing technical leadership and guidance to colleagues in designated area of expertise.
- Provide project support, technical consultancy and implementation planning for the successful deployment of new infrastructure technologies.
- Support Telecom Security Infrastructure and associated services, including technologies such as Firewalls, Intrusion Prevention Systems, Next Generation Firewalls, Internet Security Gateways (Proxies), Remote Access, Traffic Management products, Public Cloud IaaS, DNS, DHCP, RADIUS, NTP etc.
- Provide problem solving and support for all intranet/internet Telecoms services and liaising with appropriate external vendors to ensure all Telecoms services are maintained and operated to set service levels.
- Promote and actively research the Telecom and Network Security market place, identifying technologies and products consistent with global standards that can provide commercial and security benefit to the organization
- Responsible for recommending new Telecoms services and subsequent implementation in the Telecoms infrastructure, ensuring minimum disruption and impact to the business

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience in the field of Telecommunications and Network Security.
- At least 6 years Telecoms Security experience with very strong technical skills
- Excellent TCP/IP knowledge
- Very good knowledge of Firewalls, Intrusion Prevention Systems, Remote Access technologies, Application Delivery Controllers (F5), DNS, DHCP, IPAM etc.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies (Software Defined Networking, Microsoft Azure Cloud, Google Cloud Platform, Zero Trust, Cloud Proxy (Zscaler) would be an advantage
- Networking and/or Security experience on the level of CCNP
- Very strong ability to plan, design and support Network Security Solutions
- Ability to work independently and under time and workload pressure
- Excellent communication, prioritization and organization skills
- ITIL aware and trained.
