Data Analyst

The role of the Data Analyst will support requests and projects related to data and analytics for the Sourcing & Procurement organization globally. The role will work with various team members within the Sourcing Technology & Data team as well as with JLL Technologies to ensure sourcing data is managed consistently and systematically throughout the function. This role will have a strategic view of analytics opportunities and a thorough understanding of delivery of BI solutions. The role seeks an individual with experience and a passion for data and analytics, and a willingness to learn and grow in a global and complex organization.

This role will report to the Director, Data & Analytics.

**Key responsibilities include**:
Design, develop, and deploy BI solutions, including interactive dashboards in Power BI or Tableau and tabular reports, sourcing data from internal SQL Server databases, Azure Databricks, published data sources and external sources, and leveraging ETL tools when needed.
Develop, execute, and monitor moderate to complex data management / analytic processes to support ad hoc data and information delivery for assigned projects
Develop and maintain data dictionary and metrics library to align with evolving business processes
Understand stakeholder requirements and needs for sourcing analytics and make recommendations where required
Understand the current state BI landscape and bring innovation and fresh thinking while addressing the current and future needs of the business
Support data governance process and control, ongoing change requests to datasets
Manage and maintain data access rights and control systems to ensure data security and integrity
Participate in the development and distribution of best practices, process documentation, and user support materials for reporting

Experience
High level of technical skills with demonstrated ability to manage, manipulate, analyze raw data, research data issues, draw conclusions, provide resolution, and develop actionable recommendations
Advanced or Fluent English communication level
Strong analytical and conceptual problem-solving skills combined with outstanding business acumen
Proficient in analytical tools including SQL (intermediate), Power BI (intermediate) and MS Excel (Advanced). Tableau is a must.
Track record of managing data and analytics in a complex global organization
Proven ability to manage up, manage a team, motivate others, communicate complex ideas clearly, gain the respect of colleagues, and work collaboratively
Understanding of or exposure to global real estate categories in facilities management and capital works projects preferred but not essential
Advanced degree is preferred
Excellent priority setting and time management skills
Experience with any sourcing technology platforms (Jaggaer, Ariba, Coupa, etc.) is a nice to have.
