Senior Data Analyst

Duties & responsibilities
Analyze data analysis requests obtained from management to determine operational problems and define data analysis requirements, validation of content, and problem-solving parameters.
Identify opportunities to use data to develop new strategies and improve business performance and utilise knowledge of mathematical modelling and other optimization methods to perform data analysis.
Conduct exploratory meetings with JLL/T Teams and Client to generate ideas and gather requirements around how data and reporting can be used to improve the portfolio planning function, as well as operational efficiencies.
Communicate and present data to management by developing reports and visualisation.
Collaborate with other team members to build upon results to create deeper insights.
Serve as mentor and problem-solver for Data Analysts by helping them resolve issues and get access to resources needed to deliver data to Client
Conduct regular one on one meetings with junior data analyst and provide critical feedback as necessary to the employee, or to the Platform Team.
Monitor workflow of junior data analysts by assigning data requests and ensure completion dates are being met.
Review completed data requests for quality before final artifacts are delivered to Client
Design and deploy quality checks to achieve data integrity.
Build and manage dashboards, visualizations, and reports to effectively communicate findings.
Develop and support customized statistical analytics to facilitate planning initiatives and data-driven decision making.
Create and undertake maintenance and troubleshooting of the Client Planning Team repository and internal site page.
Participate from a user perspective in building the long-term vision on data infrastructure and platform.

Able to work effectively with a team of successful Data Analysts to exceed client expectation through the diligent collection of user requirements, technical analysis and the delivery of recommendations suited to Client strategic objectives. You also will be experienced in writing and quality checking technical recommendations, and leading group presentations, whilst having the confidence to back your teams ideas up.

You’ll have a proven track record in leading Data Analysts to overperform in a strategic planning function.

Proven experience in working with a team of data professionals
Excellent communication and collaborative skills
Outstanding analytical skills, with preference for a statistics or strategy background.
Strong communication and people skills - capable of engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels, across cultures and languages. Fluent in written and spoken English.
Preference for being part of a self-starting team and willingness to get actively involved in developing solutions for the client.
Proven capacity to deliver projects on time and budget while meeting or exceeding client expectations.
Contributes towards the growth of the company and meeting assigned financial targets.

Employee specification
A degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Maths, Statistics, Data Science, or a related discipline
6+ years in data or statistics with a passion for technology
External client contact experience will be highly regarded.
