Job summary
This is a great opportunity to create programs from the ground up in support of our team mission. We are building a new Operations Excellence program to create mechanisms that inspect and improve operational performance. This role requires a strong Program Manager to develop and manage large and medium-scope programs.
Key job responsibilities
- Delivers complex projects from initiation through delivery.
- Works on multiple projects whilst ensuring the structured delivery of each activity to meet our customers’ needs.
- Creates, tracks, and reports on the status of a portfolio of projects, business metrics, and compliance metrics.
- Sets or collaborates on business objectives to deliver system or process solutions that efficiently use resources and prioritize technology and automation.
- Defines success criteria for projects.
- Builds project plans and templates such as project schedules, risk logs, status reports, metrics plans, etc.
- Owns project status communication, including building consensus among stakeholders by helping them make high judgement decisions and identify possible outcomes.
- Transforms raw thoughts into clear documentation and requirements (project charter, problem statement, RACI, functional requirements, reporting).
- Drives improvement opportunities by understanding customer needs and collaborating with stakeholders on designing new solutions that enhance business performance and achieve established goals.
- Analyzes the needs of multiple stakeholders/users to improve projects and document requirements.
- Demonstrating a bias for action and an ability to deal with great ambiguity; one of the key success criteria for this position is the ability to effectively drive change in loosely defined situations.
About the team
Vendor and Operational Excellence (VOE) is a shared service program that provides tools for programs within Screening Services to inspect and improve performance. The tools managed by VOE include mechanisms and tactical support to improve quality of both screening vendors and internal operations. VOE will design these tools to support all programs within Screening Services whenever possible. VOE will also provide governance and certification services to ensure that internal teams and external vendor are compliant with standards related to risk mitigation and operational efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as mathematics, statistics, or data analytics.
- 2+ Years of relevant experience.
