Job Description

Job Overview:

NTT DATA Services is seeking a highly skilled Senior Android Developer to join our team in Costa Rica. As a key member of our mobile development team, you will be responsible for designing and building innovative mobile applications for Android devices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain high-quality Android applications using Java and Kotlin programming languages.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Design and implement automated testing and build processes to ensure efficient development and deployment.
  • Work with senior project staff and client management teams to ensure project deliverables meet client expectations.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Android development trends and technologies.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Android app development.
  • Strong knowledge of Java and Kotlin programming languages.
  • Experience with Android development tools such as Android Studio, Gradle, and Android SDK.
  • Ability to work in an Agile development environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud-based development and deployment.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and event-driven design.
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles and methodologies.
