Job Title: Senior Android Developer

Job Summary:

NTT DATA Services is seeking a highly skilled Senior Android Developer to join our team in Belen, Heredia (CR-H), Costa Rica (CR). As a key member of our mobile development team, you will be responsible for designing and building next-generation mobile applications for Android devices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality Android applications using Java and Kotlin programming languages.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features and functionality.
  • Work with agile methodologies to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure high-quality code.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Android development trends and technologies.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Android development.
  • Strong knowledge of Java and Kotlin programming languages.
  • Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and Gradle.
  • Knowledge of design patterns, such as MVP and MVVM.
  • Experience with RESTful web services and API integration.
  • Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud-based development and deployment.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum.
  • Certifications in Android development, Java, or Kotlin.
