The Quality Engineer Senior will use quality engineering tools and practices to develop transfers and maintain products/processes throughout the complete life cycle. This person will apply quality engineering principles, investigation skills and problem resolution to improve and maintain aligned quality and business global vision.
This role is responsible for risk management to prevent unforeseen failure modes and improving process capacity. The position holder will support business processes across ETHICON and Cardiovascular and Specialty Solution (CSS) Companies including multiple product platforms such as General Surgical Devices, Sutures, ENT, Infection Prevention, Electrophysiology and Surgical and Non-Surgical Aesthetics.
**Responsibilities Include:**
- Revision/analysis of the effectiveness of PDCA, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Lean Techniques and other improvement programs
- Benchmarking to develop more effective methods to improve quality
- Six Sigma certification, preferably CQA and CQE, CBA and Green Belt
**Requirements:
- Bachelor in Engineering: Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or applicable science
- 4 to 6 years of work experience, or demonstrated performance
