At Gensler, we're looking for a skilled Financial Management Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our financial team, you will be responsible for financial account management and analysis for our projects and business practices.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working closely with Design Managers, clients, and consultants to discuss billing and financial issues
  • Interpreting financial data in contracts and billings and accurately conveying them
  • Following up and assisting with collection efforts
  • Maintaining and monitoring project-specific budgets/spreadsheets/reports
  • Determining and setting up the best billing terms and invoice formats
  • Preparing and processing invoices in line with project contractual arrangements
  • Adhering to the monthly invoicing deadlines
  • Retrieving and matching backup to invoices where necessary
  • Meeting regularly with Design Managers and Studio Directors to review schedule, billing, held time, and collection issues
  • Preparing journal entries and researching General ledger issues
  • Cross-training and working closely with other team members to ensure a cohesive and high-performing team

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in accounting, 5 years of experience working as an accountant, bilingual skills in English and Spanish, excellent Excel skills, and proficiency with MS Office products.
