About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Analyst to join our Finance team at Bacardi. As a key member of our General Ledger and Financial Reporting processes, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial information.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the General Ledger team in managing accounting information for over 84 legal entities and Corporate Headquarters operations.
- Participate in the execution of month-end close activities, including coordinating tasks and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Analyze and resolve foreign exchange rate revaluations, posting recurring entries, and calculating journal entries related to accruals, allocations, reclassifications, amortizations, write-offs, payroll, and other accounts.
- Perform clearing of general ledger accounts, VAT accounts netting, and reconciliation of various types of accounts.
- Collaborate with internal clients to ensure work is properly delivered and communicate effectively with the markets to follow correct procedures and policies.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in Accounting using SAP platform.
- Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
- Proactive individual with excellent communication skills, able to build effective relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Knowledge of standard business practices and professionalism in a customer service environment.
