About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Policy Strategist - Regulatory Affairs to join our Government Affairs & Policy team in Cenam (Central America markets). This role will focus on supporting regulatory efforts and strengthening our policy-related partnership strategy.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Public Policy for ACAC and be based in Costa Rica. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the policy strategy across CENAM markets, creating internal and external alliances to advance regulatory topics regarding ridesharing regulation, tax, delivery, and other key topics.
  • Sourcing, prioritizing, and project managing key initiatives and plans from start to finish, in collaboration with cross-functional partners in the Cenam region.
  • Representing the business externally, including public speaking engagements, and working closely with other teams throughout the company.

Basic Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Experience developing the regulatory infrastructure for highly regulated industries.
  • Comfort with complex legal and political topics.
  • Experience owning the construction of strategies and execution of medium and long-term plans.
  • Strong knowledge/networking in the political environment from inside out and stakeholder management.
  • English and Spanish full proficiency.

A strong understanding of third-party handling would be an asset in this role.
