Role/ResponsibilitiesIn this role, the Product Strategist/Senior Product Strategist will lead the product development process, defining and outlining business needs for customer facing tools along with the infrastructure needs to support the delivery of content through our platforms. The Product Strategist/Senior Product Strategist will coordinate with design, technology, and marketing teams to build and launch new platforms and features to customers. The Product Strategist/Senior Product Strategist will also partner closely with other product teams to bring new content onto our platforms and further drive adoption of Moody’s Analytics content.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct customer and competitive research to inform product development process
- Define requirements for new platforms and features including user stories and test cases
- Manage product development process working with technology and design teams to successfully implement new features and build new platforms
- Define go-to-market activities and coordinate with Marketing team colleagues to bring new features and platforms to market
- Liaise and Work with internal stakeholders and colleagues to design and implement strategies that integrate new content set into Moody’s Tools platforms
- Develop and maintain internal and external documentation, collateral, videos, and training materials including conducting internal training for stakeholders
- Respond to product questions from sales, marketing, analytic staff
- Provide support to customers
- Demonstrate, promote and support of Moody’s Tools platforms both internally and externally

**Qualifications**:

- BA/BS in Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering or any related technical field preferred but not required
- 3-5+ years product management experience, preferably at a financial institution
- Experience supporting a global user base is a plus
- Experience with Agile development processes
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills with expertise in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with financial modeling, market data products and Excel Add-Ins
- Knowledge of databases and web services
- Strong track-record demonstrating critical thinking, problem-solving, initiative and leadership ability
- Ability to work using own initiative and without close supervision.
- Ability to work pro-actively on several tasks while effectively managing deadlines for multiple stakeholders
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong professional relationships at all levels, with both internal and external parties
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills, strong analytical and presentation skills
- Detail oriented and exceptional organizational and planning ability- For San Francisco positions, qualified applicants with criminal histories will be considered for employment consistent with the requirements of the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance.

- For Colorado-based roles only: the anticipated base salary range for this position is $86,800to $109,400 depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for annual performance incentive compensation. Moody’s also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
