System Support Specialist

**Job Overview**
We are seeking an experienced System Support Specialist to join our team at Qorvo.
This is a full-time position based in San Jose, Costa Rica, and requires strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality support services.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of IT infrastructure, system administration, and hardware maintenance. They will also possess excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work independently, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
As a System Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems, providing timely support to users, and resolving technical issues promptly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide level I technical support to end-users across various technologies and platforms.
- Install, configure, and maintain software applications, operating systems, and network devices.
- Collaborate with other IT units worldwide to ensure seamless IT operations and service delivery.
- Maintain accurate inventory controls for IT assets and hardware.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A mid-level computer technician or higher qualification.
- 0-1 year of experience in level I technical support roles.
- An intermediate or advanced level of English language proficiency.
- A defined orientation towards teamwork and internal customer service.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Microsoft Technologies (Operating Systems, Active Directory, Office, etc.).
- Basics knowledge of Cisco networks and telephony.
- Basic knowledge on network cabling activities.
