The Role
We're seeking a highly skilled Software Procurement Services Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you'll play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive software procurement outsourcing services to our clients. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Gathering and reviewing relevant data to assess customer situations and develop effective software procurement strategies.
- Collaborating with sales teams to provide expertise, design services, and conduct price calculations.
- Serving as the primary contact and project manager for our clients, overseeing the implementation of software processes, SLAs, and reports.
- Negotiating with top suppliers to drive cost savings through process automation, KPI utilization, communication, and benchmarking.
- Developing strong knowledge of software publisher pricing and programs through ongoing training.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT consulting, software sales, or license sourcing.
- 3-5 years of experience in IT consulting, software sales, and license sourcing.
- Extensive knowledge of software licensing processes, partner programs, and supplier landscapes.
- Advanced consulting skills, including business process examination and comprehension.
- Excellent communication, organization, multitasking, and time management skills.
- Prior procurement and contract negotiation experience is required.
