We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Coordinator at Betterwho to take charge of all incoming maintenance requests. This role requires someone who can demonstrate excellent organizational skills and think on their feet.

Job Description:

The Maintenance Coordinator will ensure a positive resident experience by qualifying incoming work orders, troubleshooting maintenance issues, dispatching service through the preferred vendor network, following up on work orders until completion, comparing invoices to the requested work, and addressing discrepancies.

Responsibilities:

  1. Qualify incoming work orders by asking exploratory questions regarding the maintenance concern
  2. Troubleshoot maintenance issues
  3. Dispatch service through the preferred vendor network
  4. Follow up on work orders consistently until completion
  5. Compare invoices to the requested work and address discrepancies
  6. Manage the Vendor network
  7. Schedule and perform semi-annual surveys of every property in the portfolio
  8. Source new vendors and promote lasting relationships with current vendors

Requirements:

  • Positive, up-beat attitude; unwavering ethics and a strong sense of responsibility
  • Great troubleshooting experience: understands how to walk customers through an issue to truly understand the problem
  • Excellent customer service and negotiation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Leadership experience recommended.
  • Repair work experience preferred.
  • Relevant licenses and certificates may be required.
