The Xbox Game Development Experiences (GDX) team is tasked with defining and delivering a premier developer experience and tools for the world's leading game developers on both PC and Xbox consoles. We are in search of a skilled Technical Program Manager who shares our enthusiasm for empowering developers to create outstanding PC and Xbox games and is eager to deliver features that will be highly valued by developers.

Our ideal candidate is a seasoned technical program manager with a strong passion for gaming, technology, game developers, and development tools. This individual possesses the experience necessary to build exceptional products, the technical acumen to engage with engineering teams, the customer-centric approach to connect with the unique Xbox developer community, and the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

A minimum of 3 years of experience in Technical Program Management within software development projects. A strong passion for game development and related tools. Proven track record of successfully delivering complex features and products. Experience in delivering features with cross-functional dependencies and impacts. Capability to work autonomously while escalating and informing as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in creating games, mods, or applications for Console, Mobile, or PC, particularly with a focus on a released game or mod. Background in software development.

Responsibilities

Play a central role in defining, organizing, and driving our features and strategy for future developer tools. Collaborate with hardware and software engineers, design teams, marketing, first-party and third-party game studios, and other essential contributors. Manage and support feature teams in delivering high-quality tools features on schedule. Contribute to the agenda and content for management project updates.
