As a Lead Architectural Project Manager at Gensler, you will oversee high-profile architectural projects from concept to completion. You will work closely with our team of experts to ensure seamless execution, leveraging your technical expertise and project management skills to drive client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all phases of projects, including project documentation, construction administration, and project scheduling, budgets, and setup with clients, sub-contractors, vendors, and consultants.
  • Provide project team coordination, specification, and material selections required for construction.
  • Resolve complex technical and design issues during document preparation and construction administration.
  • Manage project team sizes, comprised of consultants, project architects, interior designers, and job captains.
  • Prepare and ensure accuracy of technical documents.
  • Participate in preconstruction phases, RFIs, and value engineering.
  • Participate in construction administration, including quality control and submittal reviews.
  • Work with consultants, contractors, fabricators, and regulatory agencies to meet project objectives.
  • Produce architectural drawings.
  • Conduct site inspections.
  • Manage client, team, and project coordination, including full documentation coordination.
  • Provide technical guidance and innovative solutions to resolve complex technical and design challenges.
  • Review technical documents to ensure accuracy.
  • Oversee construction administration, focusing on managing design intent and quality control.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Architecture or foreign equivalent.
  • 8+ years of experience in architectural design.
  • Proficiency in REVIT, SketchUp, and construction administration software.
  • 100% bilingual English/Spanish, with excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of national and international building codes, standards, building construction, and building structures.
  • Mid-scale to large construction experience.
  • Experience with the entire project lifecycle.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Construction documentation and/or design detail development experience.
  • Ability to handle difficult situations with tact and emotional intelligence.
  • Experience leading, managing, and mentoring multiple project teams.
  • Proven fiscal accountability and responsibility.
  • Ability to maintain existing client relationships and build new ones.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
