This role will consist of designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and improving software. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, NodeJS, Java, Python, Go, SQL, DB migrations, Git workflows, Docker, Kubernetes, microservices architecture, and RESTful APIs.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering features and updates to the infrastructure, developing new software features, including APIs and web interfaces, managing and maintaining integrations, and coaching engineers to develop best practices in software development.
We are looking for someone who can work with large-scale microservice architecture backends using message brokers and data pipelines, and ensure delivery of high-quality code using various tools, cloud providers, and products.
About You:
- Strong experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS
- Experience with NodeJS or other back-end technologies: Java, Python, Go
- Experience with SQL and DB migrations
- Experience with Git workflows
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs
- 3-5+ years working in software development
- Coach engineers to develop best practices in software development
- May coordinate and define activities of other engineers
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
