Senior Program Manager and Agile Scrum Master Job Description

We are looking for a highly experienced Transformational Program Manager and Agile Scrum Master to join our Strategy Realization Office (SRO) team. As a key member of our Digital Technology organization, you will play a pivotal role in planning and implementing complex cross-functional programs that directly support ServiceNow's corporate priorities in the Go-to-Market / Sales function.

Your primary responsibility will be to partner with Business, Product, and Engineering teams on large-scale programs, driving them from concept through final implementation. You will work closely with product leaders to transform their vision into actionable roadmaps powered by ServiceNow toolset.

The ideal candidate will possess 10+ years of experience as a Program Manager and Scrum Master in an enterprise software company. You should have hands-on experience using Agile tools, strong facilitation, communication, and influencing skills, and a proven track record of delivering results in ambiguous environments.

You will enjoy working in a highly collaborative, matrixed environment with high energy, self-starters who thrive in ambiguity and out-of-the-box problem-solving. A willingness to take on tasks outside of your scope is essential to get the job done.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Business, Product, and Engineering teams to drive large-scale programs from concept through final implementation
  • Work closely with product leaders to transform their vision into actionable roadmaps powered by ServiceNow toolset
  • Establish Product intake process, prioritization, OKR alignment, milestones, deliverables, and success criteria for programs
  • Manage program risks, issues, and dependencies and escalate impediments to meet program objectives
  • Provide transparent and forthright communications on programs to stakeholders and sponsors
  • Simplify complex issues into crisp, actionable executive-level status
  • Ensure adherence to processes, quality standards, and deliverables for predictable program delivery
  • Organize and facilitate cross-functional meetings and workshops to align teams on business requirements, solutions, and delivery plans
  • Create and maintain process documentation to promote best practices and lessons learned
  • Define governance models and operating models for managed programs and socialize them for successful execution
  • Act as a Scrum Master on one or more teams ensuring alignment with established Agile and Scaled Agile processes
  • Deliver hands-on coaching of individual Scrum teams in all aspects of Scrum

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience as a Program Manager and Scrum Master in an enterprise software company
  • Hands-on experience using Agile tools
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and influencing skills
  • Proven track record of delivering results in ambiguous environments
  • Ability to dive into extremely complex, vague, and cross-functional environments and map teams to plans
  • Lean program management, continuous learning, adaptation, and improvement
  • Must enjoy working in a highly collaborative, matrixed environment
  • High energy, self-starter with aptitude for learning new technologies and ability to promote transformational change
  • Comfortable presenting operating & governance models, program plans, status etc. to large audiences and senior executives
  • Thrive in ambiguity with proven track record of out-of-the-box problem-solving skills

Estimated Salary Range: $140,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
