The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team in Costa Rica. As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network systems, ensuring high levels of performance, security, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor client environments daily to ensure system stability and performance.
- Handle day-to-day tickets and support, participate in on-call rotation, and maintain documentation.
- Diagnose and resolve network issues efficiently.
- Conduct thorough network diagnostics to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide technical expertise to both internal and external parties, including customers.
- Work collaboratively across teams and countries on various topics.
- Continuously work on improving services.
- Act as the contact point for overall stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proficiency in English.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in using monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, ScienceLogic, and LogicMonitor.
- Ability to perform basic troubleshooting for network devices.
- Basic knowledge of tools like NetBrain, Infoblox, Cisco TACACS, and Bitwarden.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience working with firewalls, load balancers, DNS, and other network services.
- Cisco CCNP or higher certification preferred or any other network certification.
