Key Responsibilities- Process payroll data for multiple countries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations.
- Manage interfaces and reports between our HR system and local payroll systems.
- Coordinate with our HR department to ensure timely and accurate updates to employee masterfiles.
- Provide expert advice on payroll-related matters to employees, including taxation, social contributions, and other pay items.
- Audit payroll data entry and employee status changes to ensure accuracy prior to payroll execution.
- Participate in internal and external training to stay up-to-date with the latest legal changes and regulations.
- Ensure timely and accurate administration of employee garnishments, insurances, and taxes.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on system upgrades and other projects.
- Handle employee inquiries and resolve issues through our service desk system.
- Execute and audit payroll outbound interfaces to third-party vendors.
- Develop and run reports as required to support business decisions.
- Lead or participate in continuous improvement and data analytics initiatives.
- Associate's degree in Payroll or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in regional payroll, preferably with a company processing 500+ employees.
- Experience with Workday or similar HR systems is preferred.
- Fluent in English and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in an office environment and operate a computer for extended periods.
