Welcome to the Local Ticket Office Sales Ambassador role at United Airlines Inc. In this exciting opportunity, you will play a crucial part in driving sales growth and customer satisfaction in our office in Costa Rica.

As a key member of our Sales team, you will work closely with travel agencies, corporate clients, and internal departments to achieve established sales and ancillary goals.

**Responsibilities:**

Sales and Marketing:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase sales and revenue
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet sales targets and exceed expectations

Customer Service:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to customers visiting our CTO and via phone (if applicable)
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner

Operations:

  • Issue/reissue domestic and international tickets for travel on United Airlines and other airline partners
  • Comply with United Airlines Internal Audit guidelines, policies, and procedures

**Required skills and qualifications:**

- High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)

- Sales, analytical, customer service, and communication skills

- Ability to work under pressure and flexibility with working shifts; showing willingness to perform new assignments

- 2+ years previous sales experience

- Excellent Technology usage skills

- Demonstrate to be an excellent problem solver

- This position requires a pro-active team player with a positive attitude, high level of multitasking, prospecting, and telemarketing skills

- Must be legally authorized to work in Costa Rica for any employer without sponsorship

- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification

- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

- Must be fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken)
