Microsoft is seeking a highly skilled Data Annotation Specialist to join our team in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products and services. As a Data Annotation Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Large Language and AI Models through data annotation tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of guidelines to ensure accurate application to agreed metrics.
- Analyze diverse media formats, including images, videos, and text content, to identify patterns and trends.
- Collaborate with team members to develop and implement recommendations for policy and filtering changes.
- Use in-house tools to transcribe and annotate data for various projects, including providing transcription (text) for audio clips or annotating text or images to verify certain types of data.
- Extract information from content (online and offline) and provide needed information through tools with high accuracy and consistency.
Requirements
- Associate's degree AND 1+ year(s) experience working with stakeholders in a project or program OR Bachelor's Degree OR equivalent experience.
- Experience working with stakeholders in a project or program.
- Ability to transcribe and annotate data from sources including but not limited to transcription (text) for audio clips or annotating text or images to verify certain types of data.
- Ability to transcribe and annotate data to a high degree of accuracy in English with in-depth knowledge of pitch, tones, rhythm, intent, etc.
- Familiarity with United States culture and linguistic nuances.
- Business level fluency to read, write and speak English and Spanish.
