Job Title: Data Annotation Specialist, Spanish Language Expert
Job Summary:
Microsoft is seeking a highly skilled Data Annotation Specialist to support the development of Large Language and AI Models. As a Data Annotation Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing diverse media formats, including images, videos, and text content, to ensure the highest standards of fidelity and consistency. You will work closely with managers to shape project strategies and foster innovation, driving continuous improvement in processes and guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a key understanding of guidelines to ensure accurate application to agreed metrics.
- Analyze content, extract information, find patterns in how the models are behaving, and develop, test, and communicate recommendations.
- Use your linguistic and/or humanities expertise to impact recommendations of policy and/or filtering changes.
- Collaborate with team members on day-to-day problem solving, reporting on trends/analysis findings, and projects assigned by managers.
- Work with in-house tools to transcribe and annotate data for various projects, including providing transcription (text) for audio clips or annotating text or images to verify certain types of data.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree AND 1+ year(s) experience working with stakeholders in a project or program OR Bachelor's Degree OR equivalent experience.
- Experience working with stakeholders in a project or program.
- Ability to transcribe and annotate data from sources including but not limited to transcription (text) for audio clips or annotating text or images to verify certain types of data.
- Ability to transcribe and annotate data to a high degree of accuracy in Spanish with in-depth knowledge of pitch, tones, rhythm, intent, etc.
- Familiarity with Mexican culture and linguistic nuances.
- Business level fluency to read, write, and speak English and Spanish.
