Role Overview

The role of a Senior Collections Team Lead at Equifax focuses on optimizing operational processes to drive efficiency within the collections team. This involves leveraging critical thinking and innovative problem-solving skills to ensure seamless execution and prompt resolution of issues.

To achieve success, effective collaboration with other departments is crucial in accomplishing shared goals.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage collections tasks not directly related to direct collections activities, including account suspensions, cancellations, write-offs, clearing on-account credit balances, invoice uploads, purchase orders, and maintain contact and system data.
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOP) to ensure uniformity and timeliness in work completion.
  • Identify and participate in process improvement opportunities to enhance overall collections team efficiency.
  • Take on non-core collections tasks to improve collector efficiency.
  • Manage special customer communications campaigns.
  • Maintain accurate and timely processing of data updates, including customer contact information.
  • Collaborate closely with billing, sales, and other departments to resolve operations-related issues impacting the collections team.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience working in B2B collections.
  • English fluency required (B2/C1 level) with good written and oral communication skills.
  • 90% knowledge of Excel skills.
