About Us
Doris Peters & Associates is a leading provider of unique tour experiences, and we're seeking an enthusiastic Tour Guide to join our team at the Visitor Center.
As a Tour Guide, you'll be responsible for leading engaging tours of the coffee farm, sharing Costa Rican history, culture, and coffee expertise with visitors, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead 60-90 minute walking tours of the coffee farm, sharing history, culture, and coffee knowledge in a friendly, engaging manner.
  • Conduct coffee tastings and assist with retail sales.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive, welcoming environment.
  • Support the team in maintaining smooth Visitor Center operations, including opening/closing duties.
  • Train and support new tour guides.
  • Handle cash and follow safety/security protocols.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.

Requirements

  • Bilingual (English and Spanish, both oral and written).
  • Certification from the Instituto Costarricense de Turismo.
  • Strong knowledge of Costa Rican culture, history, and geography.
  • 2+ years of customer service or retail experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Availability to work flexible hours.
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
