About the Company

Pello Costa Rica is a dynamic organization seeking a skilled finance professional to join our team as a Financial Analyst. This role offers an exciting opportunity for growth and development in a collaborative environment.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with excellent analytical skills to assist in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of financial software, including QuickBooks, and be proficient in Microsoft Excel. Experience in a similar role or internships in accounting or finance is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements in compliance with official guidelines and requirements.
  • Manage daily transactions and update accounting records in QuickBooks, including journal entries, payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP or IFRS in all financial reporting.
  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Basic understanding of IFRS, US GAAP, and accounting practices.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
