About the Role

As a key member of the Uber Eats team, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth by improving the Eater and Courier experience through Restaurant initiatives.

This position involves performing analysis and projects that impact our main Experience OKRs like Eater C/R, E2E, and Contact Rate.

You will act as the operational expert regarding merchant's asks or clarifications, ensuring seamless communication with the Operations Area of the Restaurant Partner.

The ideal candidate will be part of the Eats Operations Team of the Central and South American Region but will work closely with the Restaurants Org to design and implement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze Data: Ensure data-driven decision-making by crafting, collecting, and incorporating data about operations to monitor performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Create & Optimize Process: Develop and optimize processes to balance operations and commercial agreements, aiming for best-in-class operation and economics.
  • Grow the Business: As a key member of the Operations team, you will seek solutions for your Region, contributing directly to business growth.

Requirements

  • English and Spanish professional proficiency
  • 3+ years of experience in business consulting, investment banking, or other hyper-growth startups is preferred
  • Critical thinking and analytical rigour, dealing with data and scaling processes
  • Data-based decision-making, exercising good judgement in ambiguous circumstances, and effectively communicating across a diverse team
  • Strong Excel skills, database experience, and SQL knowledge are required
  • Previous experiences that prove your sense of ownership, a getting-things-done approach, and ability to go from high-level business strategy to tactical execution
