Position Overview

Core Responsibilities:

Financial Management

Collaborate with regional finance teams to facilitate the timely completion of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing processes, ensuring adherence to established closing protocols. Conduct thorough analysis and provide insights on consolidated profit and loss statements and balance sheets, ensuring the financial integrity of the affiliate's financial reports. Oversee all aspects of Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR), acting as the primary owner of the ICFR tools and documentation. Review and reconcile monthly balance sheets, addressing any discrepancies and ensuring all items are resolved. Accurately submit various reporting packages within designated timelines, including sustainability and insurance reports. Manage matters related to IFRS 16 Leasing, utilizing relevant systems. Review and authorize all manual journal entries prepared by the regional finance team. Oversee management accounting functions, including period cost allocation and other financial allocations.

Accounts Receivable and Payable Management:

Oversee multiple facets of Accounts Receivable, including the review and approval of manual billings, monitoring debtor aging, and determining necessary follow-up actions. Manage various aspects of Accounts Payable, including the review and approval of vendor invoices and payment processes. Ensure the financial accuracy of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable balances, including all accruals.

Treasury Operations

Manage cash flow forecasting and ensure appropriate arrangements for fund transfers as needed. Oversee all treasury-related activities, including foreign exchange transactions, credit facilities, and banking operations.

Master Data Management

Administer master data management processes, including the Chart of Accounts, Cost Centers, Profit Centers, and vendor/customer data.

Additional Responsibilities

Prepare audit schedules and documentation, collaborating with auditors as necessary. Participate in compliance audits and address audit inquiries effectively. Identify and recommend process improvements in consultation with management to enhance operational efficiency. Serve as the primary point of contact for financial reporting matters.
