Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Specialist to oversee and coordinate daily warehousing activities at Prysmian Group. The ideal candidate will implement production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the day-to-day activities of a team of professionals who receive, handle, store, record, and dispatch goods in a store or warehouse.

• Provide inputs to planning to ensure sufficient inventory to meet organizational needs by ordering products and managing out-of-stock or over-stocked products.

• Enter data into a database or other computerized system to maintain up-to-date stock records, retrieve stored information, place orders, or respond to enquiries.

• Monitor warehouse activities to ensure goods are stored correctly and safely, and warehouse space is used efficiently.

• Monitor the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, and protection of equipment and make recommendations for improvements.

• Prioritize and assign tasks to ensure the team's resources are used effectively and work schedules and targets are met.

• Supervise staff to ensure all warehouse activities, and all machines and equipment operated, safely.

• Train new workers in the organization's operating procedures and standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in industrial, electrical, production engineering, or a related field (or equivalent years of experience).

• Solid knowledge of warehouse processes, business systems, and logistics operations.

• 5+ years of experience in logistics operations and previous experience leading logistics/warehouse teams.

• Previous experience in inventory management.

• Intermediate to advanced English level.

• MS Office Advanced.

• Previous experience in SAP is a plus.
