Job Overview

">

The Document Controller will work closely with cross-functional teams to interpret and process order documentation requirements based on customer needs. They will ensure all team members have access to the necessary documentation.

Main Responsibilities

">
  • ">
  • Develop and maintain the Emerson documentation standard (layout and contents).">
  • Set up projects in the document management system.">
  • Coordinate training and access to the document management system for project teams.">
  • Study drawings, specifications, and product samples.">
  • Prepare user manuals and how-to guides.">
  • Create Documentation Dossiers according to user requirements.">
  • Collect, organize, and control qualitatively electronic documentation from industries and other sources.">
  • Manage project documentation and associated metadata in accordance with agreed plans and customer agreements.">
  • Formally transmit all official project documents and distribute them as needed.">
  • Receive and upload incoming documentation and client responses into the document management system.">
  • Provide final documentation that accurately meets customer requirements and maintains high presentation standards.">
  • Respond effectively to documentation requests and queries from internal customers.">
  • Serve as a liaison between teams to bring clarity and meet customer requirements and timelines.">
  • Perform adequate documentation management and archive soft copies of documentation.">
  • Review published materials and recommend revisions or changes in scope, format, content, and methods of reproduction and binding.">
  • Conduct language and formatting proofreading of project documentation.">
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of EDMS systems.">
  • Follow up on project documentation status, schedule dates, and report status according to project specifications.">
  • Conduct risk analysis and provide valid solutions to mitigate risks.">

Requirements

  • Minimum educational qualifications: English, document management university degree or related field from an accredited institution.">
  • Excellent computer skills, especially Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.">
  • Adobe experience.">
  • Excellent oral and written English skills.">
  • Excellent people skills due to interfacing with all levels of associates.">
