About the Role

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Master Data Analyst to join our team at Boston Scientific. As a key member of our Magellan Data Governance transformation, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful Business Transformation across the BSC Master Data workstream.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and liaise with Magellan Workstreams, Strategic Integration Vendors, BSC BPL's, SME's, Communities of Practice's, IT Solution Architects/COE, and Stakeholders to develop a strong and deep pool of expertise across Master Data Domains.
  • Collaborate with the broader Magellan team, integrate with the overall Magellan Program Management role, IT Solution Architects/COE, and other Magellan Workstreams.
  • Align Requirements, monitor project plans, communicate with Stakeholders, coordinate the Requirements, Design, Build, and Testing Phase, and support Data maintenance rules and data quality dashboard build.
  • Review Data Quality rules as part of Data Governance and gather voice-of-customer to ensure the most appropriate and current business rules are observed and monitored.
  • Work within the Data Governance framework to ensure accurate and consistent data maintenance across BSC.
  • Use metrics and analysis to hold Data Stewards accountable for their Data Quality.
  • Participate in meetings with, influence, and guide Data Steward SME's on best practice and CI methodologies.
  • Gather voice-of-customer raised by the business in terms of user experience issues, as well as related expectations after issue resolution.
  • Investigate reasons for potential data issues and related alternative solutions.
  • Analyse, synthesize, and communicate data and issues into business language, meaningful, and insightful messaging and plans.
  • Disseminate best practices and standardization in Master Data Management across BSC.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Science, or applicable field desired.
  • 3+ years of data Systems/Applications experience as BPL/SME.
  • Proven experience in SAP and PLM systems and the broader Application Ecosystem, combined with knowledge of key business processes.
  • A proven track record of Continuous Improvement, system upgrades/enhancements, and proactive problem-solving.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years technical professional or operational experience in medical device field required.
  • Previous experience of a major Program introduction/upgrade, ideally within an IT/Systems or Business representative role.
  • Previous experience of Scaled Agile Project Management an advantage and/or proven adaptability, comfortable with change, and with a demonstrated ability to react and respond to a fast-changing environment.
