Job Overview
This Systems Engineer position plays a critical role in supporting our team's mission. The successful candidate will have experience with data backups and disaster recovery operations, as well as a strong understanding of Active Directory, GPO administration, and DNS. They will also be responsible for performing daily administration of computer systems, ensuring optimal system resource utilization, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement data backup and disaster recovery procedures
- Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues related to systems administration
- Conduct operational evaluations to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices
- Collaborate with the team to develop change control processes and guidelines for new and existing technologies
- Contribute to the development of incident management workflow and process
Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must have:
- At least 18 years old
- Fluent English language skills (B2+ level)
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or 3-4 years of relevant work experience
- Computer network management skills
- Operational knowledge of importing data for report software, spreadsheets, graphs, and flow charts
- Familiarity with ITIL practices for IT service management
