At Hewlett Packard Enterprise, we're looking for a highly skilled Technical Solutions Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our presales organization, you will be responsible for providing technical guidance and support to external customers and internal project teams.

This role has been designated as 'Edge', which means you will primarily work outside of an office location. You will be required to travel extensively, providing technology consulting services to customers and collaborating with internal stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions that meet their business needs.

Your primary focus will be on understanding the customer's business requirements and providing tailored technical solutions that align with their goals. This will involve working closely with customers to capture their requirements, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement, and developing custom solutions that meet their needs.

You will also be responsible for maintaining knowledge of leading-edge technologies and industry/market domain expertise. This will enable you to provide expert advice and guidance to customers, helping them to navigate complex technical environments and make informed decisions about their IT investments.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will be expected to possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to effectively collaborate with customers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams. You will be required to produce high-quality documentation, presentations, and proposals that clearly communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical guidance and support to external customers and internal project teams
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams
  • Identify opportunities for growth and improvement, and develop custom solutions that meet customer needs
  • Maintain knowledge of leading-edge technologies and industry/market domain expertise
  • Produce high-quality documentation, presentations, and proposals that clearly communicate technical information
  • Travel extensively to provide technology consulting services to customers

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 2-4 years of technical experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong English communication skills (C1 or C2 proficient)
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Able to design and determine applicable technical deliverables for a custom solution
  • Able to communicate broad and specific concepts with team and to peers

Desired Skills:

  • IT certifications issued by HPE, Dell, Lenovo, Cisco, Broadcom, Marvell, Microsoft, Oracle, Amazon AWS, CompTIA, Vmware, Nutanix
  • Project Management Certifications (i.e. PMP, Six Sigma, ITIL, Scrum)
