Job Role Summary:

Splunk is seeking an Enterprise Support Specialist to provide high-level support to our customers and partners. This role requires technical assistance, issue resolution, collaboration with engineering, and contribution to projects related to support tools, knowledge management, and our growing marketplace of solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical software support for enterprise customers, including US Fortune 100 companies.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the Splunk product.
  • Solve complex technical issues to identify root causes and provide solutions or workarounds across various environments.
  • Contribute documentation content and participate in online forum support for real-time questions from Splunk users.
  • Reproduce customer issues and file bug reports if necessary, raise cases to engineering, and provide required documentation.
  • Share best practices to enhance customer experience with our products and services.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have experience with UNIX (Linux, Solaris, AIX, HP-UX), Windows, and Mac OS systems. Additionally, you should have knowledge of regular expressions (Regex) and Python scripting. Experience with Perl and shell scripting, XML, HTML, Business Intelligence, and networking concepts are pluses. You must also have demonstrated hands-on customer service experience supporting US Fortune 100 companies.

A solid understanding of troubleshooting, problem-solving, and problem-resolution processes is essential. Your superior written and verbal communication skills will enable you to articulate complex technical information effectively. Experience in technical support, system administration, or similar technical roles is highly valued.

Salary Information:

We offer a competitive base salary: $60,000 - $85,000 per year in Costa Rica.
