About the Role


The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and collaborating with development, usability, and software supporting teams to ensure high product quality, managing multiple teams of software developers in San Jose and Costa Rica, and driving day-to-day delivery, development, test, coordination, and support activities in a global engineering organization.



Key Requirements

  • At least 6 years of experience in software development management, including leadership roles
  • Strong organizational, communication, estimation, and planning skills
  • Experience in programming languages like Java, C#, or JavaScript w/ Node/Angular, DevOps, CI/CD, and automation tools in a native cloud environment
  • Proven track record of developing, deploying, and integrating software solutions, documenting processes, and monitoring performance metrics
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to mentor, supervise, and build high-performing teams
  • Understanding of integration with open-source technologies, cloud computing platforms (e.g., Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Compute Engine), web services (REST, Web Sockets), SQL and No-SQL Databases
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, vaccination against COVID-19 required
